Dear friends!
On behalf of the Government of the Chelyabinsk Region and on my own behalf, I am glad to welcome the guests and organizers of the Ural Environmental Science Forum — 2022. For the eighth time, Chelyabinsk is hosting such a large and representative event dedicated to the development of transport in the Siberian Federal District. Attention to the forum is growing: in 2018, more than 9,000 people participated in it.
The concept of the business program and the exhibition is formed on the basis of the main priorities specified in the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin “On the national goals and strategic objectives of the development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024”. The focus is on the implementation of the national project “Safe and high-quality roads” and the Comprehensive plan for modernization and expansion of the trunk infrastructure as part of the national project. The issues of preparing infrastructure projects in the Siberian Federal District, interconnection and uniform development of all types of connections, implementation of the stated indicators of the growth of the transport sector by 2024 will be considered. I invite representatives of business and expert community to take an active part in the VIII Siberian Transport Forum. I am confident that the agreements reached and the projects presented will help strengthen intersectoral and interregional relations and will make it possible to increase the competitiveness of the transport industry of our country.

On behalf of the State Duma Committee on Transport and Construction and on my own behalf, I welcome the participants of the VIII International Siberian Transport Forum and the “TransSiberia/Translogistica” specialized exhibition of transport and logistics services, commercial vehicles, and special equipment!
The Transport Forum provides an excellent opportunity for a broad discussion and the formation of a consolidated position of the professional community, representatives of business and government on the most pressing issues of the transport industry development.
I am confident that during the Forum, optimal solutions for the Russian citizens will be found for the most important problems of the industry, and the exhibition will help promote the most efficient and modern domestic technologies.
